Much to the request from family and friends wanting regular updates and pictures from our family, I have decided a blog is an easy way to go! Life has been hectic with two so close in age to say the least, so I promise I will try my best to update often! It isn't at all what I had expected-having two kids. There are days that are definitely harder than others, but Nate and I have a pretty good system. Since I have pretty flexible hours, Nate stays downstairs with the kids while I get some work done and then when he leaves for work, I am with the kids. We are both able to maintain full-time schedules, but are still able to watch our kids grow and change everyday and as parents, we couldn't ask for anything better!
The kids are doing great! Connor is getting so big! It is amazing to think of how things were this time last year---he wasn't even WALKING yet! And now he is all over the place! The other day I was finishing up some work and he was quietly playing in his crib and suddenly I heard knocking at his door! Ummmm... who taught that child to climb out of his crib?! We have also started duct taping his diaper before he goes to bed. I don't think it is really necessary to go into the reasons as to why this is-I think this is pretty self explainable. I wish we had a yard for him to play in. We would like to wait and split the cost of a fence with our neighbors, but I don't know if that is going to happen this year.
Tessa is a VERY easy baby. She sleeps through the night and is always happy. Her hair continues to amaze me! I can already put it up in a pony on the top of her head! She is rolling all over the place, but I don't know if she will be sitting anytime soon. She seems to like her spot with her head on the ground-and I am in no hurry to have both children be mobile : ).
